Joey left the band wishing no ill will towards Steve and Matt. Joey has tried to remain amicable and has left Steve alone and decided not to act like a child and post things on the internet that aren't true about him. Upon leaving Joey did take the money that he was owed out of the band account and also his fair share of what the band had made. Joey didn't go insane but tried to act like a professional and an adult. i will never forget the day i met Matt. tyler called me over to where he worked and wanted me to meet this guy ...i felt all kinds of sick and pukey that day... as soon as i sat down w/Matt i felt fine. we shot the breeze and he told me he'd give TGB a go. i didn't realize the past he and tyler had unfortunately. we accomplished a lot in a short time! we wrote a handful of new songs, headlined the El Rey Theater, opened for Drowning Pool and sold out the 300 capacity Launchpad. Dax Lujan - Drums

Dax is the drummer for my personal favorite ABQ band Requiem Mass. i called him first thing in the Doubletree hotel in downtown Austin, TX, on our tour on June 1st freaking out because Jesse had just told us he couldnt play the CD release in 17 days... Dax calmed me down and assured me that he had it under control ...Requiem were already direct support on the June 17th bill so he would be setup and ready to go... we ended up having a great show and Kris Shiffer from Requiem Mass ended the set w/us on KRIGH which was an amazing all star jam and one of my favorite TGB live recordings to listen to to this day.
